Chateau Béchereau has been one of top selling Bordeaux red for nearly a decade. Half of the wine is fermented in stainless steel before ageing in oak barrels for 12 months, the other half is fermented in oak. This combination creates a classic, medium bodied claret with a good balance of black fruits, toasty notes and some sweet spice. The perfectly balanced use of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc shows why this estate is such a sought after wine.
