Lively and intense, with marked hints of fresh fruit (banana, melon) and white floral notes. A pithy edge and just a touch of aromatic herbs.  Dry, soft, rich, yet lovely and fresh. Excellent with fish and shellfish, grilled or barbequed and with salads.

Falanghina is a white grape variety whose name derives from the Latin “phalange” that means “tied to the pole”. Its origins are uncertain, although it is an ancient vine, that first traces back to 1825.
