Seems strange for Australia to be producing a richly flavoured, attractive and easy drinking wine!! The nose is intense with ripe plum and cherry fruit aromas. The palate is full bodied and bursting full of blackcurrants, black berries, black cherries and violets. Chocolate and coffee notes are present in the mouth from oak ageing. A well structured wine, fruity and supple with firm tannins.
